AKB48’s Maeda Atsuko bonds with KARA at Music Station

It was quite an eventful evening for AKB48’s ace Maeda Atsuko and the girls of KARA as they performed their new songs “Flower” and “GO GO Summer” on Music Station.

This was Maeda’s first time on Music Station without fellow members of AKB48, so she blogged, “During rehearsal I was so nervous that my hands were shaking, but during the middle of the program I completely forgot that it was a live broadcast and it was so much fun, it went by in the blink of an eye…”

Despite her nerves, Maeda felt that this performance was her personal best, and that it could have been due to the loving support of Nishino Kana and the girls of KARA. “All of the artists were nice. Since I was by myself, even during the live broadcast Nishino-san and everyone in KARA talked to me a lot…” she said cheerfully about her fellow celebrities, noting that she seemed to have a special bond particularly with the girls of KARA. “Nicole held my hand the whole time… <3″ she wrote. “It’s because I was by myself that I was able to meet them… I was so happy.”

Maeda finished her entry expressing her gratitude to all the music programs she has been able to perform on, especially Music Station. “With this recording, Music Station is the last of my music program performances, but I’ve really been able to experience so much, so I was truly happy,” she said to her fans. “Above all, because I was able to perform on Music Station!!”
