SKE48 reveals covers, details, and track lists for upcoming single, “Banzai Venus”

Idol group SKE48 has just revealed information regarding their upcoming single, “Banzai Venus”!

“Banzai Venus” will be available starting March 9th, and it’ll come in three different flavors: ‘Regular Edition A’ (CD+DVD), ‘Regular Edition B’ (CD+DVD), and an exclusive ‘CD-only theater version’ that can only be purchased at one of SKE48’s theater performances.

The title song of the single, “Banzai Venus”, is a special tribute track from the girls, as they thank their numerous fans for encouraging them so energetically during their live performances.

Regular Editions A and B will feature their own unique coupling track, along with a B-side titled, “Ai no Kazu” (sung by SKE48’s ‘Team KII‘). ‘Regular Edition A’ will contain “Sotsugyoushiki no Wasuremono”, while ‘Regular Edition B’ will include “Dareka no Sei ni wa Shinai”. Both Regular Editions will include a ticket to a handshake event, and a random trading card featuring one of the members.

The music video for “Banzai Venus” was filmed in Nagoya (the group’s base) on January 18th and 19th, and features one thousand of their own fans as extras. The lucky fans can be seen performing right alongside their idols in an impressively large dance scene. A small portion of the video has already been uploaded onto the SKE48’s official YouTube channel.
