Rainbow returns with “Sweet Dream” on Music Core

Having ended promotions for “To Me“, the Rainbow girls are back with their repackaged album and follow-up title track, “Sweet Dream“, on this week’s MBC Music Core.

“Sweet Dream” was created by Japan’s Daishi Dance, with assistance from AP and Park Se Hyun. The pop dance track aims to charm with its sweet, fantasy-like feel.

Originally nominated to be the title track for their comeback promotions, the girls felt that “Sweet Dream” was better suited as a follow-up instead. And following the popularity of their ‘black swan’ dance for “To Me”, Rainbow has prepared a new point dance choreography, called the ‘Dragonfly Dance’, where the members dance with their eyes closed on stage for their performance.

KARA and Rainbow share pictures from their company bonding trip

Rainbow’s official Facebook page recently shared new photos taken directly from DSP Media’s MT trip. ‘MT’ stands for ‘membership training’, and it’s usually a trip taken to strengthen bonds and friendships.

Judging from the pictures alone, it seems like the girls had quite the trip planned; they went bungee jumping, rode banana boats, played dodgeball, and raced against each other. What especially caught the attention of fans was that they were all makeup-free and exuded a genuine happiness in the photos.

Netizens commented, “Their bare faces are so sweet looking”, “I want to see them both on stage!”, and “Look at Seungyeon’s bungee jumping pose!”

Rainbow unveils their music video “To Me…”!

Back on April 5th, Rainbow released the teaser for their comeback track, “To Me…“, and just moments ago, their music video was unveiled!

In contrast to the ‘blooming flower girl’ concept the members exhibited earlier, Rainbow transformed into sleek and confident women out to take revenge against the man who betrayed them.

As previously reported, their title track was produced by none other than Japan’s Daishi Dance, and since parts of the choreography were reportedly adapted from the international box office hit, “Black Swan“, anticipation is high.
